African kite
African Kite is an African singer and songwriter blending R&B and hip-hop, born on September 5, 1996, and hailing from Clearwater, Newcastle village, Chipinge, Zimbabwe.
Starting a musical journey in 2018 with the poetic song "Heartbreak," African Kite transitioned from writing poetry to crafting songs from an extensive catalog of unrecorded verses. While "Heartbreak" was initially shared just for fun and resonated with early listeners, the track "Mwanasikana" marked the official debut on Spotify and other major music platforms.
Drawing inspiration from the natural world—where initial darkness gave way to light, and where the sun and dust rise up to the sky—African Kite carries a deep belief in rising above adversity.
