Austine Okore
Austine Okore was born in Eldoret, Kenya in 1995. He began singing at the age of 8 after he discovered his father's music cassette collection. Trying his best to imitate the artist voices, he would secretly sing along to classics from an eclectic mix of legendary artists like Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Victor Uwaifo, The Mushrooms, Miriam Makeba, Fally Ipupa and Boys 2 Men, just to name a few.
After University, Austine OKore took up music professionally and has for years performed in the Nairobi Karaoke scene where he has made his mark honing his music talent. "Mpenzi Wangu" with singer Gin Ideal is his first stab at mainstream pop music.
